« Barbie » a reçu trois nominations, ce qui le place en tête des films nominés pour la 14e édition des Guild of Music Supervisors Awards, a annoncé la GMS lundi.
« Barbie » a été nominé pour le superviseur musical George Drakoulias ainsi que pour les chansons « I’m Just Ken » et « What Was I Made For », qui sont en compétition dans la catégorie Meilleure chanson écrite et/ou enregistrée pour un film avec « Am I Dreaming » de « Spider-Man : Across the Spider-Verse », « Camp Isn’t Home » de « Theater Camp », « Can’t Catch Me Now » de « The Hunger Games : The Ballad of Songbirds & ; Snakes », « It Never Went Away » de « American Symphony », « JUICY » de « Joy Ride », « LIttle Bit ‘O Soul » de « Totally Killer », « Quiet Eyes » de « Past Lives » et « Road to Freedom » de « Rustin ».
Les deux chansons de « Barbie », « Am I Dreaming », « Can’t Catch Me Now », « It Never Went Away », « Quiet Eyes » et « Road to Freedom » figurent toutes sur la liste des 15 chansons présélectionnées dans la catégorie « Meilleure chanson originale » des Oscars.
À l’exception de deux catégories consacrées aux chansons, tous les prix GMS vont aux superviseurs musicaux, les quatre catégories de films basées sur le budget couvrant 33 films, dont « The Holdovers », « Maestro », « Saltburn », « Wonka », « The Iron Claw », « Past Lives », « War Pony » et « Eileen ».
Les prix seront remis au Wiltern Theatre de Los Angeles le 3 mars.
